
Konstantinos Ntellas is a director, researcher, and performer.
He is a PhD candidate at the University of the Peloponnese (School of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre Studies, Nafplio) and holds a Master’s degree titled “Theatre and Society: Theory, Performance Practice, and Teaching.”
His works have been presented in Greece and at international festivals, both on theatrical stages and in non-theatrical spaces such as factories, churches, squares, museums, and archaeological sites.
He leads workshops on the Chorus of Tragedy, focusing on the creation and empowerment of the ensemble through tools drawn from ritual practices, as well as traditional music and dance, conducting this work both in Greece and abroad.
As a researcher, he has engaged in anthropological fieldwork within the area of folklore, documenting customs, songs, and dances from various greek communities. He also experiments with incorporating material derived from interviews, as well as methodological tools of research, into performance practice.
In 2025, he was awarded by the Union of Greek Theater and Music Critics with the 1st prize for directing a Greek play “Karolos Koun” 2024/25.
